How much I yearned and prayed for rain. Today, I woke up with thunder and lighting. At one point, it got so violent that I thought we would lose power (Yes, this happens in LA when it rains).
Now the rain has temporarily stopped and it is absolutely beautiful. I love the humidity, the clean fresh air, the scent of wet soil (Yes, we have soil too). The breeze is cool but refreshing. I can leave the window open without worrying so much about the black dust.
What a marvelous morning. Thank You Jesus.
I pray that You keep pouring rain so the droughts in California and the dryness in our hearts can be quenched and restored.
Thank You Lord for a beautiful day.
