Apparently, the recent rain has been amplified by seeding the clouds with silver iodide, which freezes the water molecules, causing more rainfall.

Not a bad idea but I hope that there are no long term adverse consequences. You are after all forcing more rain, which may have unintended consequences.

At the mean time, we can save more water by taking shorter showers and using less water in general 😀
