One point in my PhD, I was fascinated by corporate governance and compensation. But then I changed. Now I am back looking at some compensation stuff for a project and I realize why I left. Wow…so much missing data. And I don’t understand how the data were cleaned.  Plus, there is so much data in the proxy that we have not incorporated…Ugh…So if compensation research was a big mac meal, we would only have the hamburger buns or just half of the beef…

We really need an army of RAs or super AI to get the rich data in the proxies and other disclosures. Oh well, another thing to add to my already exploding to do list. But must be thankful that there is so much to do 😀

Back to figuring out stuff ^^ Research!

PS

Compensation is fun. Because everyone wants to get paid.
