Today I found out that one of my Bromeliads had a crown rot! The base of the plant was becoming brown and it smelled foul. Ahhh!!  I frantically cut out the rotten leaves and hope that it will survive (the plant looks somewhat naked). At least the entire crown is not rotting and pouring some hydrogen peroxide hopefully will revive it.

What I realize is that I have so much to learn. I already killed a spider plant, basil, and spearmint through poor care. And with every sacrifice, I have learned to better take care of of the remaining plants. Well, I just learned a new lesson today from the Bromeliad. But less sacrifice more care.

The good news is that the plant has three pups ^^

Let’s hope I become a better green thumb 😀
