Chariot for Women is an exclusive uber for women with rigorously verified female drivers. Sounds good given that there are more thefts and sexual crimes against women in uber and taxis. But….are they serious? Do they not realize that Uber or Lyft can do the same thing. They can hire qualified female drivers and have only women picked up? There is no barrier to entry. Of course, unless Chariot for Women has some kind of superb female drivers, I don’t see how it will not be crushed by Uber. I am thinking maybe they just want to sell themselves to Uber, Lyft, or some fleet companies after they become a certain size.

Also, what about transgenders? Hmmm…things could get complicated. I am also not sure how they will manage the monitoring cost because it can get quite high when you have to always monitor.

My prediction? Uber and Lyft will soon have its own safe ride.
