I am thankful for God’s grace and love. I look back at my life and even this week and I realize how much I am blessed. Specifically, I am so grateful for God’s wisdom. Of course, Jesus helps me with research and understanding the bible. But I am most amazed at how He stops me from doing stupid things. Many times I am tempted to complain when I see utter stupidity and wickedness. But Jesus tells me that I should not complain but instead pray for them. He tells me that if I complain that I too indulge in sin and it does not bring good to anyone.

Sometimes I am annoyed when people are rude to me or are clearly sinning. Inside my head, I plot my comeback against that individual. However, Jesus corrects me and says that these thoughts are wicked and that I should repent. Thus, I stop thinking about getting even instead repent and pray for the individual.

I like YouTube and YouTube gives good recommendations. But many recommendations are quite wordly and sinful. After watching some videos, I hear the Holy Spirit say, “You are busy so you don’t read the bible or pray but you have to watch this stuff?” Then I realize that I have stuff to do and I should pray first.

Finally, time to time, I am invited to do certain things. Before I would say YEEESS. But now Jesus tells me, do you really to go to that place or do that thing? Then I realize that there many things that I should pray about serve and realize wow…thank You Jesus for making me not do stupid things. It is so amazing.

Despite Jesus’ strong recommendations, I still do many stupid things such as getting suddenly angry and hating my neighbors, which I need to repent. Yet when I look back at my life and recent weeks, I realize that without God’s wisdom, I probably engaged in more stupid things bringing pain for me and others.

Father, thank You so much for Your love and wisdom. Please keep my path straight and let me be more loving and bring glory to You, Jesus.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight
