As I push forward to reading the bible from cover to cover, I read Jonah yesterday. In Jonah 3: 5-10, the evil Ninevites hear the upcoming judgment and repent and God forgives them.

I meditates on these verses and realized how great God’s love is. Even though you are wicked if you repent, God will forgive you. Amen! I felt God’s love and His yearning that we all repent and come to Him.

Then I realized that Ninevites truly repented and that is why God forgave them. Now…am I truly repenting? I fight with sin everyday and I fall short. I remember how many times that I vowed not to sin. My heart broke. I felt like I was more wicked than Ninevites.

However, then I remembered Ephesians 1:7.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Thank You Jesus for Your blood. No sin is greater than Your love. Father, I will become holier everyday. Thank You Jesus for Your love.
