These days, I have been reading the bible more and trying to figure out how to be holier. Today’s servant meeting discussed about charity. So I thought of Kiva, which I have been using for many years now. Then it suddenly hit me.

Isaiah 1:17

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

How can I have been so blind! I have seen many loans that were filed by widows but I ignored them because widows are less likely to payback. They have less assets and tend to lack money generating abilities (due to less education and working experience). My thoughts were so wicked. I only cared about my payback!

I repented. God touched my heart.

So I made three loans to the widows.
