Yesterday, I gave an airport ride to my friend. I used to detest airport rides.

Basically, you put yourself into a traffic jam and sigh. However, such feelings are gone now.

Now I am thankful that I have a car that I can give rides with. I am blessed that my car runs and that I have gas in my tank. I am very thankful that I can maintain a car.

I used to complain the bad road conditions, I still do. But I am thankful that there are roads.

I used to detest that LAX is a traffic abyss. However, I am thankful that LAX brings a lot of people to LA and has lot of flights to lot of places.

Yesterday, I was stuck about 40 minutes in the airport just to get out after dropping off my friend. Yet I hummed. I listened to worship songs. Then I listened to a podcast, which I finished.

I came home and one hour and a half has passed. Yet I was thankful that I came home safely.

Life gives many circumstances but as Christians we should always be thankful and joyful.

Sometimes this is hard (especially when you have traffic and crazy drivers) but the Holy Spirit helps us so we can always be thankful and joyful.

1 Thessalonians 5:16

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus
