A thankful Thursday. I went to Costco and looked around other stores. Finally, something that I have not done for a long time.
Faith
I really enjoyed bible study today. Psalm really refreshes our souls.
James 1: 6-8. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
I should really believe when I pray. Yet I doubt. However, through training and the help of the Holy Spirit, I pray harder and deeper. Lord, help me pray for Your Kingdom.
Doing Good
Google Crowdsource, Snapshot Serengeti, Eyewire, and Quora done. I am really trying to form a habit. Still need to pray more. Plus, really need to serve, serve, and serve. Also, need to be more cheerful when greeting others. So much darkness.
Research
Data cleaning and sanity checks. Need to really check, check before moving forward.
Investing
Found some great notes on Lending Club. Yes, need to be patient until the right notes appear! As Buffett said no need to swing at every pitch. Read about cutting losses. I learned a dear lesson when I doubled down instead of cutting losses that was bad….but a great lesson. Now I cut losses quickly. Also, I am better at position sizing.
Interesting Finds
On average, LA has been very mild winds despite the recent gusts. I will not complain but be thankful. But we do have broken trees and things flying around.
Really fun to check up on grammar using Khan Academy. I recommend others to check and learn grammar 😀
