Whoa- Trump forces Mexico to tighten border through tariff threat- and it worked.

First, it is great that we avoided the tariff, which would have made everyone worse off-

Second, yes, Mexico does need to control its border more-

However…let’s think why people want to come to the US-

Well, they want a better life…Latin America has develop a lot but still the crime and corruption can be overwhelming- And many areas still lack economic opportunity-

So if we want less people coming over and having joyful and fulfilling lives in their own nations, we should help them live better lives.

One way to do that is by investing in Latin America. You can buy Latin America stocks and bonds- You can also just buy some Latin American ETFs.

If you are a stock picker, I personally like telecommunication firms such as TEO and VIV.

I also like Mexican airports: ASR, OMAB- As always, do your due diligence-
