Communities without much money are unpaving roads to save maintenance cost. Finally, people are coming back to their senses. So much money has been wasted on rarely used roads while that money could have been used to improve education and help the poor. I hope small communities keep making the wise decision. Of course, there is cost to drivers as the cars may get worn out more but that price is less than maintaining a barely used road. As an extension, small communities can also scale back on the sprawling facilities that are quite wasteful by either selling or demolishing it.
