Today’s sermon focused on being thankful.
We read Luke 17:11-19 aloud. In sum, Jesus cured ten men with leprosy and only one came to thank him.
We might easily think that the sick people are not bad individuals that who cannot give thanks but a lot of times, we are the same.
How many times do we complain about slow internet, traffic, old phone, and more…
Let’s remember that we are so blessed. We are blessed because living in LA, we do not have a civil war. We have electricity and clean water. There are great coffee places. Yes, traffic is bad but we should be thankful for the roads and the cars. I remember living in Ecuador where some places literally had no roads.
We complain about our studies but some parts of the schools literally have no place to get education! We often moan about expensive food prices. Well, there are more than 1 billion malnourished people.
So let us be thankful! Specially, Christians, we should be more thankful!
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
We shall rejoice always! And give thanks to You Jesus. Thank You for everything. Thank You for the cross 😀
