Reflection

1 Samuel 16: 7. But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Every time I read this verse, I am so thankful because I am nothing much in appearance despite God’s blessing. But I also feel very guilty because I am still in process of becoming holier. However, I realize that I should really cleanse my heart and wage battle against sin. I cannot do it but through You Jesus nothing is impossible. Please make my heart cleaner.

Daily

  1. India is trying to become a textile powerhouse. Given that India is one of the largest producers of cotton, I don’t see why India should not follow through with textile. However, it is a very competitive and low margin business, so I am not sure how much it will contribute to India.
  2. Texas is an energy, economic, and creativity center. Despite all the pride and crazy things that one hears about Texas, we must admit that it is a great state with everything quite going well for them. I just hope that the difference between the major cities and the rest of cities become less. Because there are some really sketchy and scary people in the outskirts of Texas.
  3. Many shops are open in Labor Day. Well, I guess that is because it is LA. It is convenient for us but a bit sad for the workers although they should be getting paid extra. I hope that people really rest more on Labor Day.
