Reflection
2 Kings 4:5-7. She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. 6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.”But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing. 7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”
I love this story because of God’s grace. In essence, we all have unending oil. Jesus. Jesus whoever drinks from my water will never go thirsty again! We are so blessed because of Jesus. The good thing is that when we have enough faith and when needed God will show this kind of awesome miracles!

Time to paint again. I used to love to paint until I realize that I was really bad. But thanks God to photography and photoshop, I can make something like an art. However, I have not been artistic but given the benefits of art, I should start again.

- Yiwu, China, is the capital of cheap products. Now I know where the cheap stuff from Walmart and 99 cent stores come from.
- Chyna’s sad story. How she became addicted to drugs and died after her fame. It is a sad story but yet we have other celebrities who passed away poor and broken. I pray that celebrities can beat their own demons by the power of Christ. Also, it would not be a bad idea for celebrities to have a mandatory clause to go to rehab if things spiral out of control.

Machine Learning + Econometrics
Econtalk covers machine learning and econometrics. Excellent discussion by Susan Athey how econometrics is bringing causal inference to machine learning, making inference more powerful. Also, learned that without theory, there cannot be drastic improvements and things may go astray. Lovely discussion, I recommended all those who are interested in machine learning and econometrics to listen and listen again.
