As a researcher, research is quite challenging and interesting. Most of the times, it is toil! But once in a while you find something interesting or you find something that you never knew and you feel much better for hmmm…a day?
Today I ran some tests and the results did not come out as expected. I had inclination that it would not come out but taking suggestions from colleagues, I did the test.
Well, I was right. But that did not make me feel happy but I felt joyful because I learned something new. Yes, I learned that the hypothesis was wrong but I learned that the setting that I was testing is quite more interesting than I thought.
I told myself that I should go back and start making some more figures and descriptive statistics. Ahhh, learning from the null 😀
