Today was a good day 😀

We had sort of rain so the air was super clean. I stayed inside and enjoyed a hot cup of coffee ^ _^ Then when I went outside the rain sort of stopped so it was really nice.

Among all the things that I am thankful for, I was very thankful for the peace. Today, I did not hear helicopters circling around or ear-shattering sirens. No honking. It felt like I was back in the countryside, where there is so much peace.

In the midst of the peace, I enjoyed doing research, fixing my slides, reading up on research, watching Udemy and YouTube. Ahhh what a joyful day. So much productivity packed into few hours.

Then I remembered that it’s Presidents’ Day! Before I did not think much about presidents. I thought they were bad and joined the bandwagon of criticism. But now as I have matured a bit, I realize that it is a very hard job with tons of stress.

Plus, as Christians, we know that God put those leaders there. We don’t know His plans but God has made them our leaders.

Romans 13:1

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

Furthermore Jesus says to obey your leaders.

Hebrews 13:17

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

So today let us pray for our leaders. We know that presidents around the world have many issues. Some are really creating chaos. Yet we know that God is still in control. So let us pray that our leaders fear God and that they are filled with wisdom and take good care of the people with love.

It is very hard to pray for certain leaders who really seem wicked but yet we follow God and we trust Jesus will take care of the matters. God bless us all 😀
