Reflection
1 Kings: 3 7-9: Now, Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties. 8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. 9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
Although Solomon messed up in the end, I think it was very wise of him to ask for wisdom. As Solomon, we should all ask for wisdom from God. And wisdom starts from the fear of the Lord. Whenever I deal with people, invest and do research, I realize that I really really really need wisdom from God. Father, we ask You for wisdom.Let us start by fearing You and keeping Your commands.

- Majority of the people do not trust drones delivering pizza. This is actually not a big issue, pizza companies can offer massive discounts and other incentives for wider adoption of pizza delivery. They can also launch a campaign that drone delivery decreases traffic and pollutes less.
- ITT closed because the US Department of Education stopped providing federal loans to ITT students. I am sure US Department of Education went on the offensive and some overreaction is likely but if a school has to shut down without federal loans, then this company was not really profitable or adding value to the students or society. This clearly shows how subsidies can create unintended consequences such a institutions that live off these subsidies. I hope that we as a society learn a lesson from ITT closure. Not just for profit colleges have been scamming students and society but ill directed subsidies will create huge inefficiencies and pain.
- Professional athletes defrauded by a financial advisor who appealed to their Christian faith. This kind of fraud really makes me upset because you are using God to perpetrate evil. Of course, Jesus forgives all sins but using God to rob others, well, that will not go nicely. Also, the church has to be awake. As Christians, we are called to forgive and go the extra mile often at our expense but outright robbery may be due to lack of wisdom, discernment, and often not being awake. I pray that the athletes get their money back and that there is no further fraud involving Christianity. Also, I pray that we are more awake and wise.

Resource investing
In this Frank Curzio’s podcast, Marin Katsusa talks about resource investing. Katsusa is one of my favorite resource investors, I learn so much from him. He talks about that gold will keep rising and it is not bad time to be in gold. I also liked his insight about uranium. Uranium will make a come back and uranium is hard to extract so competent management is really important.
