2 Kings 2: 9: 

When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.

I love this verse because Elisha trusts in the power of the Lord. Whenever we ask something from Jesus, we should ask for great things. Because God is our Father and He will give us what we ask us and more. So let us ask for greater abilities and wisdom to serve Jesus.

Daily

I learned that extra 30 minute of sleep is really valuable to me. Need to sleep much better. Everyone if you think you need more sleep then you are in real need of sleep. Remember that we all need rest and God wants us to have rest. So never forget to chill.

1.Finally, a way to classify male eggs more humanely. No more grinding up male chicks, this is what I call good technology. Also, we will see the chick sexer finally being replaced by a machine. Good timing given that there are not many chick sexers these days.

2.People don’t pick up pennies but how about a load of pennies on the roadload of pennies on the road? Yes, 1 cent is still money so please do pick it up 😀

3. Electric shock therapy helps treat depression and even autism. Shock therapy has been poorly done and abused in the past but now it is much done more carefully and it’s effective. Hope the medical field uses more when it is necessary.

Gender lens investing

In this Wharton Podcast,  Jackie VanderBrug, discusses about gender lens investing. The VanderBrug emphasizes that everyone has a different lens and that leads to different investment objectives and investments. She also emphasizes female gender lens is increasing more social investment. Personally, I do believe that under-representation of women in finance and less female favored investments is an issue. I am glad that females have more power now in investing. However, we should still favor the investments that bring the most value to the world rather than base it on gender preferences.
